THE WINNERS of Haverfordwest’s Spot the Duck Competition have been announced.
The competition saw shopkeepers throughout Pembrokeshire’s county town keep 45 toy ducks in their windows, with families asked to find all of them to win a cash prize.
Tomos and Sara Gwilliam won the £100 top prize after taking part with their mother Angharad.
“It was a nice family activity to do and good to see something happening in town,” said Angharad.
“It makes you realise that there is a lot more businesses than you might be necessarily aware of here.”
The third place prise of £25 went to Nerys Butland and family: Evan, Owen, Ieuan, Bethan and Dansie.
The spot the duck competition was the Haverfordwest Business Circle’s contribution toward Haverfordwest Festival Week in July.
