THREE brothers have raised £2,000 towards Withybush Hospital's Ward 10 in appreciation of the care given to their late mother, Joyce Kidney of Pembroke Dock and formerly of Jameston.
Phil, Peter and Andrew Kidney raised the money from donations in lieu of flowers in memory of Joyce, which amounted to £710, and sponsorship from Phil completing Ironman Wales in 2017.
Said the ward's senior sister, Helen Johns: "The generous donation will be used to enhance the care provided on the ward, and will ensure that patients, their families and staff can access a wide range of specialist services and equipment beyond what the NHS can currently provide."
