SWANSEA Bay Business Club will return from its traditional summer break with a business breakfast event at the St Brides Hotel & Spa in Saundersfoot on Wednesday September 5.

Chief Executive of the Port of Milford Haven, Alec Don, will be present at the breakfast as guest speaker and will discuss the Port’s Milford Waterfront Development, a multi-million pound development that will see new shops, eateries and a hotel join the already busy tourist attraction.

A graduate of Oxford University, Alec is the Chair of both the British Ports Association and The Port Security Authority and spent several years in corporate finance before entering the port business.

President of Swansea Bay Business Club, Paul Gardner, said: “It’s fantastic to be returning to Saundersfoot after our first visit here last year and to be joined by Alec, who’s port in Milford Haven is one of the biggest on-going developments in the whole of West Wales. “Hearing first-hand about some of the challenges they have faced in delivering such a huge project will be a fascinating experience for all of the guests in attendance.

“The event will also provide people with a great opportunity to participate in a Q&A with Alec and discuss some of the wider benefits and financial implications of the development on the business community and surrounding areas.”

Alongside the opportunity to hear from Alec, guests will be afforded the unrivalled networking opportunities provided by the most established networking group in the region.

Tickets to Swansea Bay Business Club’s business breakfast with Alec Don are priced at £15 for members and £17.50 for non-members.
