Cancer Research Care and Cresswell Quay local committee The annual pancake night was held at The Quay on March 2nd. Lots of people enjoyed the pancakes, which were prepared and cooked by Ros Beck and Billy James.
Raffle prizewinners were – Basket of fruit Ros and Joe Mooney; chocs Keith Williams; biscuits Wendy Whitelock; wine Luke Cole.
A grand total of £340 was made for Cancer Research.
Many thank to Maurice and Janet for allowing the event to take place and to everyone else who helped make the evening such a success.
Also a coffee morning was held at Lawrenny Hall, the event was well attended with tea, coffee and homemade Welsh cakes provided.
The stalls consisted of Easter goodies, fresh vegetables, plants, food, household items and collectable china.

A total of £637.25 was made for the charity. Grateful thanks for the wonderful support this charity continues to receive within our community.
