Dear Editor, - Further to Councillor Malcolm Calver's letter 'Scrutinise council services' (Western Telegraph, March 9th), I was particularly interested in his comments about independently-minded councillors.
Could he be trying to imply that he is a true independent county councillor?
If so perhaps he could explain to me and the voters of Manorbier as to why he didn't inform them in last year's election that he was, in fact, a member of the Conservative Party.
Perhaps this is his interpretation of what a true Independent should be.
