Dear Editor, - With the greatest respect to J. J. Clark (Letters, February 2nd), the by-passes at Llanddewi Velfrey and Robeston Wathen are not required to facilitate higher speeds on the A40.
We need them to make our villages safer and less polluted by traffic. If we lived at Llysyfran we too might not be so aware of the problem.
