A BEAMING smile from the bride as she clutches a bouquet of roses with one hand and her bridegroom with the other.
This unusual wedding took place at St Peter's Church Johnston, on Wednesday and the happy couple and their guests were pupils at Johnston CP School.
"Part of the RE curriculum is to look closely at weddings and Rev Hooper, who 'conducted' the service, has worked closely with Class 2 and even performed a christening before Christmas," said Mrs Debra Davies, Class 2 teacher and deputy head.
"The wedding worked really well and was a wonderful learning experience and a very memorable occasion for the children. There is a strong relationship between the school, the church and the community.
