CD review - Doguzki, Dunno, You Love It, Gasbomb Records
Dogzuki are back with this two-track offering.
Ever keeping up with musical fashion, this is a more controlled and polished specimen compared with previous vandalism, yet still retaining the patented Dogzuki otherworldliness.
One feels here that Dogzuki are cross-eyed, treading a fine line between trends and artistic endeavour.
It must be particularly galling for the band to see other inferior acts cleaning up nationally with similar formats.
Why the 'zuki aren't selling squillions of records is one of life's mysteries - cos they're the dogs'.
Check out next week's paper to find out what live reviewer Moll has to say about Dogzuki when she tracks them down at one of their many gigs.
