Live preview: Healey's World - an evening with Lord Denis Healey Torch Theatre, Milford Haven, Tuesday, February 1st

ONE of the most enduring political figures of the modern era is coming to the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven on February 1st.

Healey's World gives an insight into the private thoughts of one of Britain's most remembered Chancellors, Lord Denis Healey, for one night only.

Selecting 150 images of people and places encountered throughout a fascinating life, Lord Healey takes his audience on a tour of the globe.

Every image tells a story and is accompanied by personal recollections and anecdotes. Born during World War One, Denis Healey's tale begins with his childhood in the Yorkshire Dales and touches on his time as a student at Oxford University and being a young man in the war-torn 1940s.

His photos document his travels as a 23-year-old soldier serving in North Africa and India, his experiences inside the Kremlin as Defence Secretary in his late 40s and a tourist at 80.

Talking about his extensive political career and inviting questions from the audience, Healey's World is a unique opportunity to understand the driving forces behind a man who helped shape the society we live in. To book tickets, which cost £10, telephone the Torch box office.

The Torch Theatre has kindly given Telegraph Pulse two pairs of tickets to Healey's World to give away - worth £40.
