Over 5,000 spectators, more than 20 floats and 127 walking entries all added up to the biggest and best Narberth Carnival ever on Saturday.
Imagination, colour and fun ran riot in the lively procession, which ended up as a crazy traffic jam as its front met its back on Narberth's one-way system.
The day was the crowning glory on yet another successful Narberth Civic Week, which featured a 59-event bonanza including a charity fashion gala, Kart Wars, a firework display and a barrel push.
"We have had an absolutely superb week and made lots of money for charity," said Civic Week chairman Wynne Evans. "The town was buzzing all week, especially on carnival day when the atmosphere was electric from morning till night."
