Tempus, a small group of dedicated musicians founded by Seimon Morris recently performed in St Peter's Church, Goodwick, and again in St Mary's Church, Pembroke, where they gave a programme called Handel with care.
Since the Handel concerts, Tempus has been busy every weekend. They flew the Pembrokeshire flag in Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, singing for a prestigious 21st birthday party. During Haverfordwest Festival Week they sang in Castle Square, and in Tesco. They were supposed to sing in Haverfordwest Castle for the Music from Everywhere Festival, but unfortunately everyone had to move into Tabernacle Chapel when the heavens opened!
The future programme for Tempus is looking very exciting, with two authentic, Baroque Messiah concerts planned.
Tempus are also making a CD for the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, and will be going to London, on December 6th, to give the English premiere performance on the day the trust was formed. Tempus raise funds for Leukaemia charities.
The first concert for the Ward 10/BMTU charity run by Leukaemia victim, Adam Evans-Thomas, is set for September 27th, at Plas Hyfryd Hotel, Narberth.
