The Jubilee Sailing Trust's (JST) ship Tenacious sailed into Milford Haven on Friday for essential maintenance to be carried out.

Tenacious is the largest wooden tall ship of her kind in the world. She is owned by the JST, which also owns and operates the tall ship Lord Nelson.

These vessels have been specially designed and built to allow disabled crew to take an active part in the running of the ship.

There are many special facilities on board and everyone has a vital role to play, irrespective of ability, disability, age or gender.

The JST is unable to open Tenacious to the public for ship visits during her stay in Milford Haven. However, she may be seen when she departs on August 17th. For further details on her summer or winter programme contact the JST Voyage Department on 023 8044 9138.

Voyage destinations in the pipeline include Spain and the south of France. The winter season sees Tenacious's voyage crew soaking up the Caribbean sun as they island hop in tall ship sailing adventures around Antigua.
