The winners of the schools competition were:
Primary School Performance Competition: 1st: Fenton Primary School, flute duet 2nd: Milford Haven Junior School, disco band Joint 3rd: Spittal VC School, folk dancing and The Meads Infant School, choir
Secondary School Performance Competition: 1st: Bush Comprehensive School, Cobalt (rock band) 2nd: Sir Thomas Picton, Home Made (dustbin band) Joint 3rd: Greenhill Comprehensive School, Sita Thomas (Bollywood dancer) and Hakin Ed Centre, Unison (modern dance)
Each school will be presented with their cheques and a certificate signed by Simon Weston OBE from the Welsh Blood Service on the last week of term.
There are several hundred 'Band of Hope' bands left over of varying colours. They will be sold at the front desk at Withybush Hospital for £1 each and at Haverfordwest and Pembroke Dock Tescos.
