Dana and Susan Robinson will bring their unique blend of traditional and new music to The Boat Club, Newport, on Tuesday, August 30th, at 8pm.
Based in North Carolina, they are on a short British tour, and this will be their only gig in Wales.
Their music is a lyrical exploration of the best and worst of rural America, featuring songs and tunes all the way from traditional ballads to Dana's very contemporary compositions.
The musicianship, on guitar, banjo, fiddle and mandolin, is outstanding: Dana has played at Carnegie Hall, and they appeared live on BBC Radio Two during their last visit.
This is a rare opportunity to see performers of this standard up close and personal. Tickets are £5, available from Swales and Creative Electronics, Haverfordwest, The Royal Oak, Fishguard and the venue. Numbers are strictly limited.
