A programme good enough to eat is on the menu for Narberth Food Festival, which has established itself as one of the highlights of the Pembrokeshire calendar.

This year's festival - the seventh - takes place from Friday, September 23rd, to Sunday, September 25th.

And it looks set to be the best and busiest ever, with demonstrations, street and indoor entertainers, talks, workshops, tastings, a food quiz, shop window competition, live music and much more.

Dozens of delicious food-related stalls will pack the Queens Hall between 10am and 5pm on the Friday and Saturday, bringing along the tastes and aromas of Pembrokeshire produce as well as foods from Wales, England, France and Spain.

Admission to the hall is just £1.50, which gives access to the festival's talks and demonstrations by well-known chefs and food specialists.

Narberth's official twinning agreement with Ludlow - which hosted Britain's biggest food festival earlier this month- has strengthened the links between the two towns even further.

And the winner of the Ludlow Young Chef of the Year contest will be helping with the Narberth's Festival's latest innovation - the Big Jazz Charity Lunch at the Queens Hall, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief, on the Sunday. Starters will be created by Jethro Lawrence of Ultracomida Deli, with the main course and sweets created by Karlos & Co, The Bridge, Narberth.

The event runs from noon to 4pm, with the meal beginning at 2pm to give diners time to recover from the previous night's Festival concert by legendary Irish band Kila.

So whether you're a foodie, a fun-lover or just want to enjoy a fantastic community event, make a date for Narberth Food Festival - Friday September 23rd to Sunday September 25th.
