AN INCREASINGLY notorious corner has been the scene of yet another accident.
The driver of a four-wheel drive vehicle was taken to hospital by ambulance following a collision with a tractor on the B4320 near Hundleton.
Fire crews were called to the scene shortly after 9.30am on Thursday to clear the blocked roadway.
The man was not thought to be seriously injured.
Only two weeks ago, a retired road safety officer christened the spot Hell Corner following an estimated 40 road accidents on the bend since he moved into a nearby house 18 months ago.
Mac Thompson said the road was in a dreadful state and almost every car that passes the corner 'twitches' on the greasy surface.
A driver travelling from the nearby Texaco refinery was killed in an accident on the bend in May.
"Unless there is something done, there will be more deaths," said Mr Thompson.
