He's all dressed up ready for Christmas - but one little dog doesn't have a home to celebrate in.
Christened Santa's Little Helper, the short-legged mutt was wearing a Merry Christmas bandana and a smart red collar when he was found in Milford Haven.
Kevin Hart, of Broad Lane Kennels, Lawrenny, is looking after the labrador/terrier cross for the dog warden service.
"He's a friendly chap and in good condition, but nobody has come forward to claim him. It's a bit of a mystery, but not unusual for this time of year.
"We had seven unclaimed stray dogs last month alone."
"People should contact us first - we can give telephone numbers of animal welfare groups who may be able to help with rehoming."
Anyone who loses a dog should inform Pembrokeshire County Council's Dog Control on 01437 764551, as well as the police and the kennels.
But meanwhile, time could be running out for Santa's Little Helper if he isn't claimed or found a new home.
