PRINCESS Anne will recognise the beneficial work of local volunteers in a visit on Thursday.

HRH The Princess Royal will spend an hour at the HOPE Therapy Centre at Honeyborough Business Park, Neyland.

Earlier this month, the centre celebrated 20 years of treating multiple sclerosis sufferers. The Princess Royal will cut a cake to mark the occasion and observe the centre's hyperbaric oxygen chamber in operation.

Charity chairman David Harries said the visit will be an honour for HOPE and for the people of Pembrokeshire whose donations help maintain the centre.

"It is through their kindness and generosity that we exist as we are today," he said.
