DEAR EDITOR, - Is it not ironic that the Countryside Council for Wales should declare Mrs Moseley winner of their My Special Place competition for her entry that praised Mynydd y Gwair, when it is in fact one of the landscapes whose destruction they appear to applaud?
Whatever happened to the 'Bonfire of the Quangos'? If the CCW cannot carry out its remit to protect the Welsh countryside, should it not be a prime candidate for cremation?
