Dear Editor. - Breakthrough Breast Cancer, the UK's leading breast cancer charity, is inviting people in Wales with a personal experience of breast cancer who are interested in campaigning for better services, to a two-day workshop called The Breakthrough Cardiff Fly-In on June 27th and 28th at the Wales Millennium Centre.

The Breakthrough Cardiff Fly-In is a good opportunity for anyone interested in making a difference to their local breast cancer services, treatments and research - and at the same time helping the over 2,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Wales.

These are exactly the people Assembly Members need to hear from because they have experienced breast cancer services, have ideas about where improvements could be made and where breast care clinics are already demonstrating best practice.

Everyone attending The Breakthrough Cardiff Fly-In will be provided with expert training and given the chance to meet Assembly Members.

On the first day there will be workshops to learn how to campaign for improved services effectively. On the second day you can discuss your local breast cancer services directly with Assembly Members. Throughout the two days you will also have plenty of opportunity to meet and be supported by other people who have had similar experiences.

Anyone interested in attending should contact Georgina Kaim on 020 7025 2485 or email advocacy@breakthrough.org.uk. Jeremy Hughes, Chief Executive, Breakthrough Breast Cancer Weston House, 246 High Holborn, London WC1V 7EX
