A car which was once the fastest in the world is currently on show at the Museum of Speed in Pendine, next to the beach where it was driven to one of its records.
Malcolm Campbell was at the wheel of the Sunbeam Bluebird in 1924 when it shattered the world land speed record at 146.16mph.
The car belongs to the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, but can be seen at Pendine until June 21st. Entry to the museum is free.
Said Carmarthenshire County Council's museums officer, Ann Dorsett: "The Sunbeam Bluebird held the world land speed record on three separate occasions and at two different locations.
“Only very brave men dared drive this, the fastest car in the world, when it first appeared in 1919.
“We are really pleased to have her on loan to Pendine and think she will prove a popular attraction for visitors.”
