A diver who went missing off Skomer Island had been found following an extensive air and sea search.
The diver disappeared at 1.10pm today (Friday) from the dive vessel "Valley Divers" which issued a Mayday call.
Both St Davids lifeboats, Little Haven inshore lifeboat and Angle all weather lifeboat, along with rescue helicopter 169 from RAF Chivenor and several smaller vessels were all deployed in the search.
The position given for the missing diver was near the Garland Stone Rock to the north of Skomer Island.
After a search which lasted over two hours the diver was spotted by the vessel "Galway Fisher" at 3:30pm who directed the helicopter to his position.
The helicopter airlifted the diver and, although he was none the worse for his ordeal, he was taken to Withybush Hospital for a check up.
All agencies were then released from the incident and St Davids Lifeboats returned to station rehousing at 4:35pm.
