Police are appealing for the return of a prescribed heroin substitute, which was lost between Tesco Pharmacy and Freemans View, Haverfordwest yesterday evening (Monday).
Along with eight 8mg tablets of the heroin substitute Subutex, four tubes of valium were also lost. Subutex is mainly used in an attempt to relive some of the problems associated with heroin addiction.
The drug is different from Methadone and Heroin because it does not have such a strong effect on the brain.
Subutex is a class C drug, meaning if you are found in possession of it when not prescribed you could face two years in jail plus an unlimited fine.
The maximum penalty for supplying or intent to supply in 14 years in jail plus an unlimited fine.
If the items are found, Police ask that they be handed into the nearest pharmacy of Police Station as consumption by those who are not prescribed the drugs can be harmful.
