Townswomen’s Guild The monthly meeting of the Guild was held in Albany Church Hall on October 3rd when the Chairman Mrs Daphne Fuller gave a warm welcome to Mrs Betty Oulton a new member.
Details of forthcoming federation events were discussed and delegates arranged.
Members will meet at the Mariners Hotel for lunch on Friday October 21st and the monthly whist drive will be held on Monday 24th.
After the business meeting a members photograph competition was held which caused quite a lot of hilarity. Joint winners were Mrs Arline Cook and Mrs Doreen Ambrey.
The next guild meeting will be on Monday 7th November when Mr and Mrs Jeff McCarthy will present more Scrapbook Memories.
