Angle lifeboat has been involved in a three-hour rescue this afternoon (Thursday), after local charter fishing boat, Pescadore, got into trouble off Gateholm Island.
The all weather lifeboat was called to the aid of the stricken vessel, which had suffered from engine and gear box failure, at midday. They towed the boat back to its base at Hobbs Point.
The crew was then met by members of St Govans coastguard who took details of the incident.
