Police are appealing for information after a horse was shot and injured in a Goodwick field over the weekend.
The animal was targeted with a 117 airgun sometime between the evenings of Friday, June 8th and Saturday, June 9th. The airgun pellet embedded itself in the right side of the horse’s chest, causing a puncture wound.
The horse was being kept in the recreational fields near the new cycle path, to the rear of Goodwick Moor.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area during the time who could help them identify the offender(s) to get in touch with PC Watkins 328 at Fishguard police station on 101.
