Angle lifeboat came to the rescue of a yacht with two crew on board on Saturday.
The vessel, Destiny, had lost her steering just off Sheep Island. Angle established a tow and took her safely to moorings. Arriving back at station two and a half hours later.
The all weather lifeboat, along with the pilot boat Hakin and Dale coastguard rescue team, was also tasked to the aid of a vessel drifting close to rocks on Friday night. When they arrived at the scene the vessel was making its way safely back to its moorings and the rescue was stood down.
