A PEMBROKESHIRE business is celebrating more than a decade in the spa therapy trade.

Ivy Bridge Spa, a beauty and therapy centre at Goodwick, is looking forward to another successful 10 years in delivering high quality services.

Being the only spa in Pembrokeshire which provides private use of a sauna, jacuzzi and steam rooms, Ivy Bridge Spa has a reputation of supplying its customers with exclusive therapies.

The spa has attracted thousands of visitors from outside the county since opening, as well as having a great number of regular customers in Pembrokeshire.

Owner and Pembrokeshire tourism member Sara Phillips said: “It’s hard to believe that 10 years has passed since we opened the spa.

“The support from Pembrokeshire Tourism and our loyal customers has been invaluable to the ongoing success of our business and the team at Ivy Bridge are grateful for the continuing support”.

To celebrate, the spa held a special canapés and champagne evening to show its appreciation to all its loyal customers.

The spa is home to Wales’ only perfume studio, where clients have the chance to create a unique fragrance for themselves.

Sara believes this has been key to bringing visitors into the county.

“The perfume studio is very popular with our customers outside Pembrokeshire,” she said.

“It gives that extra touch in addition to the typical spa and pampering day which is accessible anywhere.

“It gives customers the chance to treat themselves like a celebrity by creating their own fragrance, its bringing the star treatment element to our facilities.”

The spa was given a Pembrokeshire Tourism’s inspirational people development award in 2009 and another award for the best team in 2011.
