AN artist from Goodwick has had the honour of having one of his paintings accepted for the Royal Society of Marine Artists exhibition.
Bob Grimson has been a marine artist for the last 10 years since retiring from work as a boat builder, charter skipper and harbourmaster.
Originally from Devon, Bob moved to north Pembrokeshire three years ago. His work can be seen in fine art galleries in the UK and USA and can be found in private collections throughout the world.
Bob has had paintings shown at the International Marine Art Exhibition at Mystic Seaport, Connecticut in 2007, 2008 and 2010 when his entry was given an award of excellence, and in April 2014 one of his paintings was presented to the Queen when she opened the new Heritage Centre in Pembroke Dock.
In October of this year his entry for the Royal Society of Marine Artists 'The Kathleen & May in Mounts Bay' will be on show at the Mall Galleries, London.
