A SPECIAL lunch was recently held in Lamphey, by members of the Pembroke Townswomans Guild for a long-serving member who had reached an important milestone birthday.
Pembroke Dock-born Dorothy Louisa Mathias celebrated her 100th birthday on July 14.
Dorothy had received a card from HM The Queen for her 100th birthday and was also presented with a certificate for 62 years of loyal service to the guild by the South West Wales Chairlady Anne Sillick.
Members of the Pembroke Guild also congratulated Dorothy on achieving her 100th Birthday.
Dorothy, a member of Bethal Chapel Pembroke Dock, also had a special surprise celebration at Pembroke Dock’s Pater Hall, attended by many friends, and was visited by the town’s mayor Peter Kraus.
