STAFF and Governors of Lamphey Primary School would like to congratulate young pupil Owen, who has been appointed as a member of the Young People’s Advisory Panel at the Office of the Children’s Commissioner for Wales.
Owen, currently one of the School Ambassadors, applied for the position along with 80 other children from around Wales.
Due to his impressive application form, his unique experiences and commitment to giving children a voice he has been appointed as one of the 11 members of the advisory team, who will be working alongside Sally Holland, Children’s Commissioner for Wales, for a period of two years.
Headteacher SimonThomas, praised Owen for his commitment to the school and the leadership shown, and would like to congratulate him on this fully deserved appointment.
