A FUNDRAISING three hour swim from Hook to Hobbs Point in aid of Angle Lifeboat Station, planned for Saturday, August 20, has been postponed.
Peter Kidney, the brother of county councillor Phil Kidney, had planned to leave Hook at approximately 9am, arriving at Hobbs Point at lunchtime.
The swim has been postponed due to the expected adverse weather conditions.
Pembroke Haven Yacht Club is holding a charity barbecue, also in aid of Angle Lifeboat Station, at midday, which is still expected to go ahead.
Local band The Krooks, of Hundleton, will be at the afternoon event, donating their time, again for the RNLI.
The barbecue and Pembroke Haven Yacht Club clubhouse at Hobbs Point will be open at noon.
