STAFF and pupils at Lamphey Primary School have been delighted with computers recently purchased by the Friends of Lamphey Primary School, in the development of the ICT Suite.
Head teacher Simon Thomas said: “I cannot thank enough the parents of Lamphey Primary School, who have worked so hard raising funds for the 15 computers. In these financially challenging times, without their support, the pupils of Lamphey would not have been able to use such a resource at the school. With greater emphasis being placed on the children becoming digitally competent we are now confident that the pupils of the school will continue to flourish and develop in an ever-changing world.”
Lowis, a Year 4 pupils said: “Our old computers used to break down and this no longer happens. We are now able to use the computers and do really cool things such as going on to Hwb [a digital learning website] and learning our spellings.”
