THIS year sees the 25th anniversary of the Dinas Head 4.5-mile race and fun run.
Taking place on Bank Holiday Monday (May 26), entry fees will go to cancer charity Tenovus.
Starting at Pwllgwaelod, near Dinas, at 11am, the route goes along to Cwm yr Eglwys, turns right up the very steep narrow road to Hellan, back down towards Pwllgwealod, left along the Coast Path, down the steps at Pwllgwaelod, back to Cwm Yr Eglwys, then left to go round Dinas Head.
The finish line is just past the entry of the path to Cwm Yr Eglwys.
The race was started in aid of the Newport NSPCC, in 1990. Since then it has raised thousands of pounds for a variety of worthy charities.
