MEMBERS of a foundation set up in memory of a Fishguard teacher recently attended a Christmas assembly at Portfield Special School.
The Catrin Vaughan Foundation made a donation of an iPad and iPod touch to pupils who are in need of extra support in the classroom.
Catrin’s life was tragically cut short in April 2014 when she was involved in a car crash on her way to work just outside of Fishguard.
The 30 year-old was a hugely popular teacher in the Ysgol Glannau Gwaun learning resource centre.
The foundation was set up in her name shortly after her death to benefit children with additional learning needs, in which Catrin saw so much potential.
