NURSERY and reception pupils at a Pembroke Dock primary school enjoyed a mock wedding earlier this term.
St Mary’s Roman Catholic Primary School pupils have been learning about different types of celebrations, from birthdays to christenings and weddings.
They dressed up in their best clothes for the big day which included a mock service, the couple’s first dance, throwing confetti and a reception feast.
Playgroup leader Sheila Pratty said: “The day was beneficial as the nursery class have been learning about celebrations. It was a great experience for all of the children to celebrate this wonderful topic, a wedding, which was enjoyed by all.
“It gave the children the chance to dress up in all of their fineries, even down to their button holes.”
The school would like to thank everyone who helped make the day a success.
