Saundersfoot’s new Regency Hall Community Centre has been welcomed as the latest member of the village’s Chamber for Tourism.

The centre becomes the 65th member of the go-ahead organisation, and the two are looking forward to working in tandem, particularly next spring, when Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism’s annual St David’s Food and Craft Festival moves indoors to the venue.

Said chamber chair, Phil Odley: “We are looking forward to developing a great partnership with the Regency Hall, and taking advantage of its superb facilities which are going to attract even more visitors to Saundersfoot.

“We are delighted to announce we will be holding our very popular St David’s Food and Craft Festival at this prestigious venue next March.

“The facilities of the hall give us the opportunity to introduce some new and exciting features to the event, including a wider range of stalls and diverse programme of entertainment.”

Regency Hall chairman and treasurer, Neville and Sue Boughton-Thomas and centre manager Chiara Hare recently attended the chamber meeting to be held in the hall, where the theme of Promoting Saundersfoot was explored.

An interesting discussion on developing a marketing strategy for the village was led by Maudie Hughes, chief executive of Pembrokeshire Tourism.
