CHILDREN will not go without this Christmas, thanks to some generous donations from Tenby residents.
A mountain of children’s gifts were collected at St Mary’s Church, Tenby, in aid of Pembrokeshire Action to Combat Hardship (PATCH) Christmas toy appeal, which was launched at the end of October.
PATCH coordinator Tracy Olin and her husband, Jan, attended a church service on Sunday, November 24, when the gifts were handed over.
All of the presents, some of which were donated by members of St. John’s and Deer Park churches, will be given to families in need. Each child will receive five gifts and parents will also be supplied with gift wrap.
The guitar group, Tenby Jammers, also donated £50. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the appeal.
