A treasure-trove of items found on the beaches has inspired pupils to create poems and useful items.
Children from Class 4 at Tavernspite School carried out activities with Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority staff and environmental art with Sculpture by the Sea artist Tina Cunningham.
Through their Beach Treasurer project, they looked at the journey of the objects they had found, and how they had changed their identity to become beach waste, writing poems about their unique transformation.
The children designed and made functional and practical inventions with the found items to give them a new life, thanks to sponsorship by RWE’s Pembroke Power Station.
