The Wales YFC sub-committee chairmen and vice-chairmen have been elected by representatives of the committees.
In the Rural Affairs committee, Dylan Jones, of Cwmann YFC in Carmarthenshire, was elected as the committee chairman and Owain Rhys Evans of Sarnaru YFC, Meirionnydd, was elected vice-chairman.
Caroline Dawson of Cilcain YFC, Clwyd, was elected as the Activities and International committee chairman. Also during the meeting, Kay Morgan a member from Usk YFC, Gwent, was elected as vice-chairman of the committee.
The Training and Promotions committee elected Laura Hammond of Howey YFC, Radnor, as the committee chairman and Nicola Walker, of Tregynon YFC, Montgomery, as the vice-chairman of the committee.
The youth forum also elected its leader and sidekick for the year. Meira Lloyd of Llangeithio YFC in Ceredigion, was elected as the leader for the forthcoming year and Aled Jones from Troedrhiwdalar YFC, Brecknock, was elected as the sidekick.
These new officers will work alongside Pembrokeshire’s Tim John, Wales YFC chairman, and Enfys Evans, the vice-chairman, during the year. This will ensure that Wales YFC offer a varied programme for its members.
