A grand win

Haverfordwest Cricket Club has reaped the rewards of paying a pound a week to the Bluebirds Tote.

The club, which run senior and junior teams in the Pembrokeshire cricket league, has netted a cool £1,000 in prize money from the scheme.

The tote itself is open for any sports team, club, or organisation to join, and the cricket club’s success may persuade others to sign up.

“They have made a £1 a week investment and that has come good,” said the Bluebirds David Hughes.
