Neyland 0

Goodwick United 2

Goodwick United grabbed two brilliant goals in the first half and kept a clean sheet to secure the points at Neyland.

The Nomads’ home form this season has been awful and despite putting in a valiant effort they had to settle for nothing.

The visitors took the lead in the 15th minute with an excellent goal scored by Rhys Dalling. The striker was given far too much space, cracking a superb 25- yard shot that flew in to the top corner past Patrick Hannon.

Midway through the first half and the visitors went two-up. Darren Devonald ghosted over halfway and unleashed a vicious 30-yard piledriver with his left foot that did not give Hannon a chance of stopping.

The second half was a far tighter affair, but on the overall balance of play Goodwick were good value for their away win.
