WITH the end of the season in sight, the fourth round of the 2013 Pembrokeshire Karting Championship proved to be another success.
Sam Joseph returned to the competition after missing the previous round with another strong performance, by winning each of his races and setting the fastest lap of the event.
With Jason Cole still at the top of the standings, the final push for the title will go down to the wire at the last round. Elsewhere in the heavyweight division, Richard Francis of Swansea displaced Liam Hunter of Carew at the top of the standings, with only a narrow margin between them. Brian Newton held the lead of the Rookie of the Year standings, despite Dan Thomas and Michael Roderick being within reach.
With all of the categories still wide open, the final round, under floodlights on October 5 will be a thrilling climax to an incredibly close season. Anyone aged 16 or over can compete and spectators are welcome. Please visit www.pembrokeshirekarting.co.uk for more information.
