Goodwick United 1

Hakin United 3

The visitors have set up a mouth-watering fixture with league leaders Narberth at the Obs this Saturday, both teams come into this clash unbeaten.

Vikings striker Justin Harding drilled home the opener in the tenth minute. Two minutes later and James Stanmore bagged the second after being set-up by Damien Ellis. Steve Blackfords side were caught napping and Harding nipped in again for the third.

Just before the break and Vikings skipper Ewan Findlay was sent off in the 35th minute for deliberately handing the ball in the box and denying a goal scoring opportunity. To make matters worse for the hosts Tom Jones skied the resulting penalty over the bar as they trailed 3-0 at half time.

The second half was a far even affair and the only goal of the second period was scored by Goodwick striker Stephen Evans that was by best only a consolation as Gary Dawes team were happy they returned back to Hakin with the all-important points.
