West Dragons 1

Goodwick United 1

AFTER last weeks shock resignation by West Dragons manager Nigel Delaney the home side responded with a draw at home to Goodwick United.

Following last weeks heavy Senior Cup defeat at Tenby, things came to head as Delaney resigned last Monday, as last season he guided them to the division two title and a Senior Cup final and despite a decent start in the top flight he's parted company. Richie Brill has now taken on the role as Dragons boss.

The hosts took the lead in the 15th minute with a well-worked goal. Johnny Horgan worked his magic down the right and his cross was steered home by striker Bradley Hewitt.

Both goalkeepers Andrew Mathias and James Gwilt pulled off some stunning saves, but ten minutes from full time saw Lewis Banks drive home an equaliser in a crowded area.
