GOODWICK United dramatically fought back from two goals adrift and gained a comfortable five-goal victory at second from bottom sorry Hundleton.

The home side were good value for their two-goal cushion with 20 minutes on the clock. Jason Donohoe drilled home for the first and that was quickly followed-up with Geraint Lewis lashing a shot into the back of the net.

On the stroke of half time Rhys Dalling pulled a goal back for the visitors. The second-half told a far different story as the visitors equalised shortly after the break as Lewis Banks scored with a firm header.

Then Steve Blackford’s outfit dominated as Kieran O’Brien who started the game at right back was pushed up front, and he rewarded Blackford for his smart thinking by claiming a hat-trick in a brilliant ten minute spell. All of O’Brien’s goals were finished from the edge of the box and he’s laying a strong claim that that he should be his club’s striker. Now that is food for thought.
