Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League Division One:
Pennar Robins 1-2 Lamphey
GOALS by Dano Kitts and Mikey Davies secured a crucial away win for Lamphey at derby neighbours Pennar Robins.
After a goalless first period, the The Stags got on top and bagged two goals to put them in the driving seat.
Firstly, Davies pounced at a corner to score from close range - before Kitts rifled a direct free kick into the top corner of Carl Rees’ net.
The hosts were given a lifeline when Sam Southcott pulled a goal back with a close range header, but the visitors held firm fto secure their fourth win of the season.
The result means Lamphey head into 2018 with few fears of relegation, as they now lie 11 points clear of joint bottom Milford United and Herbrandston.
