Manderwood Pembrokeshire League Division One:
Goodwick United 3
Neyland 0

League leaders Goodwick United were made to work hard by Neyland at Phoenix Park - but a brace from club captain Adam Raymond ultimately helped them pull five points clear at the top.

The visitors were again missing regular keeper Patrick Hannon - but 17-year-old George Incledon impressed between the sticks, tipping away a Raymond free kick early on.

Away defender Nick Koomen also cleared a shot off the line - but the The Nomads could have gone ahead when home keeper James Gwilt mishit a clearance into the path of Jonathan Harries, but he couldn't find the empty net from 35 yards out.

Geraint Rees was went through one on one but was denied by Gwilt - before Goodwick opened the scoring when a Iestyn Evans free kick from the left was glanced into the bottom corner by Raymond.

The Phoenix Boys went 2-0 up when Kieran O’Brien found space from a throw in, and teed up Evans to fire a low shot home from 20 yards.

The Nomads almost got back into it before the break as Mike Chandler hit the bar from 10 yards - and Patrick Bellerby had a close range shot deflected wide.

Early in the second half Rees hit the post -  with Chandler following in to set up Joe Charlton to score, only to be denied by the offside flag.

At the other end, Incledon kept his side in it with two smart saves, but then 15 minutes from time, Raymond worked some space and duly curled a 20 yard effort into the top corner.
