Manderwood Pembrokeshire League Division One:
Carew 7-0 Herbrandston
AFTER suffering West Wales Cup heartache in midweek against Goodwick United, Carew struck back with a superb seven-goal demolition of relegation haunted Herbrandston.
Sam Christopher opened the scoring in the 15th minute, clinically finishing from a Scott Ferney assist.
Ferney then added the second and third goals to effectively kill off the contest, before James Hinchliffe struck with the fourth.
After the interval The Rooks continued to dominate, with Jack Christopher scoring with two headers before Hinchliffe rounded off matters with the seventh.
The Rooks are now at home to Angle tomorrow night before going to Hakin two days later, while Herbie, who remain six points from safety, next go to West Dragons on Thursday.
