Solva pulled off the surprise result of the day, hitting poor old Haverfordwest County for six.
Peter Cole’s Solva outfit move up the league ladder to sixth while the visitors remain in eighth.
The home side scored three goals before the break and followed up with three more in the second period. The only positive note for Bluebirds’ boss Derek Roberts was the fact that Mike Preddy did grab a late goal to salvage some pride.
The hosts got off to a dream start as Luke Jones scored a simple tap-in provided by Charlie Syme’s inch-perfect cross.
Provider Syme turned scorer for his side’s second. Five minutes before the break and Nathan Davies made no mistake with a fine header.
Alastair Davies’ header brought up Solva’s fourth. Ross Deese scored on his debut for the fifth. Preddy nipped in for the visitors’ only goal. But right at the death Ben Jones bagged delighted Solva’s sixth.
